Sefton Economic Forum 

The Sefton Economic Forum is our key business event held twice a year in summer and winter. Our most recent event took place on 6th June 2024 at Formby Hall. Our next one will take place on 14th November at The Lake House in Waterloo.

Sefton Huddle 

This is a networking group for businesses in the digital, creative or technical sectors in Sefton. This is held three times a year in February, June and November. The next meeting will take place on 24th October 2024 at The Lake House in Waterloo.

Financial & Professional (F & P) Networking Group

This is a networking group for businesses in the financial or professional sectors in Sefton. This is held twice a year in April and October. The next meeting will take place on 16th  October at The Lake House in Waterloo, please visit the F & P page for more details.

Customers need to be able to identify your business from your competition in a highly competitive market place. This workshop will take you through the reasons for having a trade mark, the 4 rules of trade marking, and the 4 different approaches to choosing your name. It will show you how to search the relevant public databases to find out what class your trade mark should be in, and to see if someone else has already registered the name you want to have.

Every “First Thursday” of the month, Merseyside Expanding Horizons work together with pre-starters, entrepreneurs, SME’s and those looking to improve their business.
