Starting a business can be an exciting time, but getting the right guidance and support along your journey can make the difference when it comes to start up success.
Delivered in partnership through the six local authorities in the Liverpool City Region (Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, and Wirral) and funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), a new online resource has been developed with lots of free advice and guidance for starting a business: Start a Business | Liverpool City Region | Growth Platform

Who is eligible? Individuals in Sefton looking to set up a social enterprise.
Startup Direct
Startup Direct provides funding, mentoring and support as part of the government-backed Start Up Loans Scheme. Supporting people of all ages over 18, from idea stage to businesses trading for up to 2 years, Startup Direct provide low interest government-backed loans of up to £25k. If you are successful in your application for funding you also receive FREE: 12 months business mentor support, access to workshops and networking events and business discounts from over 30 providers.
