Whilst the engineering and technology industry has typically been a male-dominated sector, Industry 4.0 presents far-reaching new opportunities for women in this field. As we move into the fourth industrial revolution, the opportunities for women’s careers in this field have never been greater as we see increased integration of physical production with digital technologies.
Join us for our event on the 18th May as we’re joined by leading industry organisations and local businesswomen as we explore the opportunities available in the 4IR age. The aim of the event is to engage and promote the opportunities available through the LCR 4.0 Project and to set up a cluster group for 4IR women which will continue to look at opportunities and challenges that may arise.
