Organised by Liverpool & Sefton Chambers of Commerce and Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Service, this event will give business leaders and entrepreneurs an opportunity to listen and learn from different businesses on how they have chosen to embrace corporate philanthropy whilst continuing to satisfying the needs of their colleagues, clients and customers. Hosted by Jenny Stewart, Chief Executive of Liverpool and Sefton Chambers of Commerce, panel members include:

Elkan Abrahamson, Director of Quality Solicitors Jackson and Canter and overall controller of their Hillsborough and Business Ethics Departments
Simon Webb, Managing Director of Carillion’s Royal Liverpool Hospital construction project
David Owen, Senior Investment Director at Investec Wealth & Investment
Julie Rebholz, Practitioner in Residence at Blueprint for Better Business and former Group Director Sustainability at Centrica

Following an initial panel discussion we will open to the floor for questions allowing you to explore how businesses, of all sizes, can engage in corporate philanthropy and how it can benefit both the local community and business.

Since it was established in 1909, LCVS (Reg. Charity No 223485) has brought people, organisations and resources together to address the huge need, poverty and inequality that exist in our city. We work with businesses across the city to help align their corporate and philanthropic aims with the needs of the city so we can all work Together for Liverpool for Good.
