Meet the Buyer is a major component of IFB, when businesses of all types/size will have the chance to meet buyers from major UK and overseas companies. All types of goods and services are required, from food, agency staff to work wear, transport, waste services and much more! Attendance at the Meet the Buyers is FREE, but to have the chance of meeting a buyer, or having your product offer reviewed by a buyer, businesses must register for the IFB Business Club and Brokerage Service, and complete a complete a business profile application form by mid-June at the latest
Investsefton are running drop in surgeries for any businesses wishing to take advantage of meet the buyer. At these surgeries businesses will be assisted with completing their business profile application forms, and ‘selling’ their business offer to a buyer, for selection for an appointment, or consideration as a supplier. Support will also be available with presenting to a buyer, top tips, and tendering advice. You can call in any time between 8am-6pm and a session should take no more than 1 hour.
Please note that this event has been organised by the Merseyside Business Support Programme, funded through European Regional Development Fund, and participation in the event will be counted as direct support to your business and will need to be included in any De Minimis Declaration under State Aid rules.
