The Defence and Security Accelerator’s mission is for the UK to have the most innovative defence and security capabilities in the world. The Accelerator achieves this by finding and funding innovative ideas and seeking to rapidly bring them into use across defence and security.
DASA is committed to working with academia, organisations and individuals who are interested in helping the U.K’s defence and security work better and faster, be more efficient and safer. DASA encourage the submission of any innovative ideas through our themed and open call competition. DASA provide 100% funding, no equity is required and the intellectual property stays with the innovator. Technology is rapidly changing all the time, and DASA takes pride in exploiting imaginative ideas with ease.
DASA has put in place a regional outreach team and the North West is covered by Jonathan Jones who is based in Liverpool. Jonathan would love to hear from organisations large and small or individuals to discuss potential innovations or ideas that could shape the future of defence and security in the U.K.
