The world of digitalisation is here. From the Internet of Things to Industry 4.0, Digitalisation is transforming UK manufacturing!
AI, Big Data and Cognitive Computing will usher in a new era of high value added and low cost manufacturing.
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and the University of Birmingham (UoB) are bringing to you, a morning of discussions, insight and revelations around Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Digitalisation and how UK manufacturing is on the cusp of industrial transformation.
STFC’s Hartree Centre is a national centre of excellence for High Performance Computing, not to mention that they have the most powerful supercomputer available for use by industry, in the UK. Their computer and data scientists are world leaders in their field; and with talks from a number of speakers across industry this is an opening not be to be missed.
This is a perfect opportunity for businesses to acquire knowledge around digitalisation and explore the opportunities of STFC funding through their Bridging for Innovators programme (B4I). The event will also detail additional funding and support available for businesses, from University Partners.
Following the agenda below we will also be hosting optional, 1-2-1 drop-in sessions to speak with businesses about potential challenges or new ideas. Please book here if interested: https://bit.ly/2WXoyzg
