To provide delegates with the knowledge and practical skills to enable them to effectively manage absence within their organisations. By the end of the workshop, delegates will be able to:
– State why managing absence is important in their role as an
Employer/Manager/Supervisor
– Apply company policy on managing absence
– Define short tem, long term and unauthorised absence, and state ways to manage each situation
– Produce an action plan to deal with specific issues in their own team
Please note that this event has been organised by the Merseyside Business Support Programme, funded through European Regional Development Fund, and participation in the event will be counted as direct support to your business and will need to be included in any De Minimis Declaration under State Aid rules.
Priority will be given to private sector businesses based within the Sefton MBC local authority area.
