Join The Manufacturer, the Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership and LCR 4.0 for the North West Launch of Digital Manufacturing Week 2018.
Steve Rotheram, the Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, is set to open the launch, before the team from The Manufacturer outline the exciting plans for this year.
Alison Mitchell, Executive Director of Sensor City, will welcome us to the £15m University Enterprise Zone and explain how the facility can help manufacturing companies to adopt industrial digital technologies. Also joining us will be Michelle Dow, Managing Director of All About STEM who will discuss how young people can get involved in Digital Manufacturing Week and help inspire the next generation of digitally enhanced engineers. Finally Erika Rushton, Chair of the Baltic CIC and recently awarded the Transformational Leader Award at the Northern Power Women Awards , will discuss the Openmaker programme and how the maker community can challenge the status quo of supply chain orthodoxy.
3968 expo visitors, 613 conference delegates and 118 exhibitors attended Digital Manufacturing Week in 2017. This year will see 6000+ visitors to Digital Manufacturing Week at the Manufacturing Leaders Summit, The Manufacturer Top 100 report launch, and the ceremony and gala dinner for the announcement of the biggest prizes in UK manufacturing, The Manufacturer MX Awards.
We are delighted to be supported by Santander as sponsors of this year’s conference and drinks sponsors of the Liverpool launch event.
Join us to learn more about our plans for 2018, network with the regions leading manufacturers and industry partners and learn why Digital Manufacturing Week is the biggest event in the industrial calendar.
