Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram Congratulates fast-growing Southport tech firm

Fast-growing Southport-based technology business AdaptiveComms were delighted to host Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram when he visited their offices this week.

Central to growth

The Mayor has identified the Digital, Creative and Technology Sector as being central to the growth of the Liverpool City Region investing over £30 million in the LCR connect network which will make the region the fastest connected business area in the UK. As a well-established digital tech company in the sector, AdaptiveComms are pleased to be part of that journey.

AdaptiveComms Group Directors James and Clare Brayshaw gave the Mayor a tour of the office and introduced several members of the team. Based in the heart of Southport, Family run AdaptiveComms have over 20 years’ experience providing a range of telecoms and IT solutions to businesses and public sector organisations across the UK.

Investment

Following an investment of over £150,000 during the last two years, they have increased turnover and headcount and simultaneously achieved the ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards and were today able to announce that they had become an Approved Partner for LCR Connect and had also been accepted on the G-Cloud and Enframe frameworks. 

AdaptiveComms have put themselves at the forefront of the cloud and cyber revolution and expect to grow staffing to over 100 people and triple their turnover in the next 10 years.

Teamwork and camaraderie

Addressing the team at AdaptiveComms, Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram, said: “I’m delighted to see a company like yours in the City Region, the teamwork and camaraderie you have and the professionalism you have shown puts you in an great position to be able to take advantage of the digital revolution, I wouldn’t be surprised if I came back here in 10 years’ time that you’d achieved the growth you were looking for because you have everything ready to do it .”

Real honour

AdaptiveComms CEO James Brayshaw said: “Receiving a visit from Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram is a real honour.  It was great to be able to showcase our work and the team were very excited about his visit.  Achieving the ISO standards were particularly hard and to get the recognition of that via Mayor Rotherham’s visit is very special, particularly as the Mayor so clearly understands our sector and is so passionate about it.”

AdaptiveComms has previously received a range of support from InvestSefton-Sefton Council’s business support service.
