15/03/2022- FREE Inbound Tourism Business Support

Market leading training delivered by VisitEngland – the official tourism experts for travel to England.

What if you had access to a £28.4bn market? Would you take the opportunity?

In 2019, the UK tourism industry was worth £120bn, with inbound markets providing £28.4bn and domestic markets providing £91.6bn. Did you know only 9.8% of UK SMEs focus on international audiences who, on average, spend 3 times more than the domestic traveller?

Liverpool was the 5th most visited city in the UK by international visitors before the pandemic and to help restore the sector, £3.2m is being invested in a destination marketing campaign over the next 3 years to generate demand for leisure and business tourists from both domestic and international markets.

VisitEngland would like to invite you to Taking England to the World – a one day training programme which aims to help your business to be ready to reach new customers, grow your revenue and capitalise on pent-up demand and develop new markets.

Taking England to the World has been created and is being delivered by industry experts providing information on insights and research, marketing, product development, distribution, and partnerships to create a fully rounded training offering.

With content covering all aspects of getting ready to work with the travel trade to attract new customers, this training course will cover an overview of the key markets to England, defining and distributing your product offering, to building powerful relationships and creating engaging content.

Developed as part of the government’s £40M Discover England Fund, this free course is designed to equip you with the skills and foundations to develop and promote your product for sale in key markets.
