Sefton Economic Forum
InvestSefton’s economic forum is held twice a year. All businesses in Sefton are welcome to attend for a morning of networking, interesting and informative talks and also the chance to browse our business support marketplace.
The agenda for the next economic forum is as follows:
- An economic update from economist Christian Spence
- A presentation on the LCR Growth Plan from Adrian Nolan from the Liverpool City Region
- Colin Chong from Everton FC will talk about the initial economic impact and opportunities arising from Everton FC’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium
- Mark Catherall, Head of Tourism for Sefton Council will provide a summary of ‘Southport 2026’ as well as an update on The Open at Royal Birkdale in July 2026.

This Workshop will be ran in partnership with InvestSefton, LCR Finance Hub, Kindred and Livv Investment.
It aims to provide a clearer understanding of the current financial options available to businesses in Sefton, including ‘socially trading organisations’, as well as clarifying financial terms which are regularly used.
There will be time for networking as well as the chance to have a 1:1 meeting with either LCR Finance Hub, Kindred, or Livv Investment
