Southport’s 2026 cultural events programme has been fantastic, bringing thousands of visitors to the town through headline events including LightPort in February, The Open in July, the British Musical Fireworks Championship in September, and Books Alive! this October.

To help local businesses capitalise on these opportunities, InvestSefton has delivered a series of FREE workshops throughout the year, designed to boost creativity, strengthen marketing capabilities, and enhance customer experience.
These sessions provide practical tools and insights to help businesses make the most of increased town centre footfall.
