Employers Needed!

Employers Needed!

The Liverpool Economic Activity Framework (LEAF) is a research project looking at economic inactivity in the Liverpool City Region. It is collaborative research project funded by UK Research and Innovation and led by the University of Liverpool, in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University and the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Economic inactivity is defined as people who are not in employment and have not been seeking work or are unable to start work for a range of regions including ill-health and other skills or access barriers. As part of the study, we want to talk to employers to understand their needs, challenges and practices relating to employment processes to reduce economic inactivity.

Who can take part?

  • You have responsibility for recruitment, staff development or employee retention.
  • Your organisation is based in Sefton, Liverpool, Knowsley, St Helens, Wirral or Halton
  • Aged 18+

Take part in a 20-30 min interview to help us understand how organisations can better support people who are economically inactive into employment. Your perspective could help shape approaches to supporting more people into meaningful work.
