Business drop in clinics at The Atkinson

Every Tuesday between 10am and 1pm InvestSefton will hold a business drop in clinic at The Atkinson in Southport. This is for any business in Sefton, or for anyone thinking of starting a business. While spring may have just begun, severe and inclement weather can hit at any time and cause massive disruption and financial concerns, with the average cost of flooding to a business being £82,000 – its impact on small businesses can be particularly devastating. With 99.9% of UK businesses being small and medium-sized, a large proportion may be affected by adverse weather and it is imperative they have a robust plan in place to be prepared for storms, floods or other weather events. In the worse-case scenarios, the impact of adverse weather can mean reduced access to the essential products and services that businesses need to run, ultimately leading to small businesses becoming insolvent or closing altogether. Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland Social Entrepreneurs Programme

Applications are now open! Apply to:  Start Up  |  Trade Up  |  Scale Up  |  Which level is right for me? Are you committed to helping people in need or improving the environment? This programme has helped almost 2,000 people like you to start up and scale social enterprises, charities, community projects and impact-led organisations. This year, we’ll support a further 260 people across the UK with: A learning programme A grant (£1,000 – £7,000) Mentoring A supportive community There is no cost to you at any point.
