The Build Sefton team is here to complement existing employment and business support initiatives and will work closely with Sefton@Work. Our core aim is to help Sefton residents seeking work in the construction industry and to maximise opportunities for them within the current Merseyside building boom. This service is offered to Developers, Contractors and local businesses.
Some of the assistance on offer through Rebecca include:
1. A tailor-made service to find solutions to training issues
1. Free recruitment service including advertising your vacancy through our partnership network
1. Identification of ideal candidates
Our aim is to help employers fill their vacancies with local people by offering a highly flexible package of recruitment services. Build Sefton will also work in partnership with Jobcentre Plus, Reed in Partnership, The Opportunities Shop and Connexions to offer employers a very effective, co-ordinated approach to meeting their specific requirements.
Build Sefton will provide a monitoring role to establish that local resourcing is being addressed and achieved. Close scrutiny of its effect on a number of key economic outcomes will include:
● Any increase in the labour supply
● More job placements
● Higher retention rates
● More multi-skilling and a higher skilled workforce
