Digital Manufacturing Week LaunchLiverpool Enterprise Partnership
Liverpool City Region launches the Digital Manufacturing Week on 17th April at Sensor City.
We ask that guests arrive at Sensor City at 3pm for registration, with the opening address from Steve Rotherham, Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor, to begin at 3.15pm.
Alison Mitchell, Executive Director of Sensor City, will then welcome us to the £15m University Enterprise Zone and explain how the facility can help manufacturing companies to adopt industrial digital technologies.
Nick Hussey, CEO of The Manufacturer Magazine, will give an overview of the success of Digital Manufacturing Week 2017, as well as an outline of the exciting plans for 2018 and why this is the biggest event in the industrial calendar.
Also joining us will be Michelle Dow, Managing Director of All About STEM who will discuss how young people can get involved in Digital Manufacturing Week and help inspire the next generation of digitally enhanced engineers.
Finally, Erika Rushton, Chair of the Baltic CIC and recently awarded the Transformational Leader Award at the Northern Power Women Awards, will discuss the Openmaker programme and how the maker community can challenge the status quo of supply chain orthodoxy.
Following the closing remarks from Nick Hussey, we request that you join us outside on the terrace at Sensor City (weather permitting) for networking and drinks, sponsored by Santander.
With over 75 already registered and the numbers continuing to increase, we are confident that this will be a fantastic event, shaping the way for Digital Manufacturing Week 2018 being an even greater success than last year.
