Facebook Digital Skills Training

InvestSefton are pleased to offer Sefton businesses the opportunity to attend a Facebook-accredited training course. The training will cover: Facebook and Social Media – Marketing Campaigns and Audience Insights Innovation – Design Thinking and Building Prototypes – develop your own app on the day Web Presence – Search Engine Optimisation, UX & Analytics The Extraordinary Club are delivering the training as part of a Europe-wide initiative lead by Facebook, to help businesses grow and equip staff with the digital skills they need.  The course is interactive, and delegates will not need to have knowledge of the subjects covered to participate, but you will need to bring a smartphone or tablet with you on the day. There is a choice of 2 dates/venues- Wednesday 13th March, 9.30-1 at Formby Hall or Thursday 14th March 1.30-5 at Hugh Baird College. If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, there may be changes that affect your business. LCR Skills Show 2019

The Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Hub are delighted to introduce The Skills Show 2019 Programme, supported by the European Social Fund/Education and Skills Funding Agency. These free, one day events will take place at various locations throughout the city region during February and March. Growth Catalyst Leadership Development Programme

Growth Catalyst is an innovative seven-month leadership development programme designed specifically for owners and senior managers of SMEs in the Liverpool City Region, to help the business grow.  The programme is uniquely designed to provide both personal and business growth.  The programme includes; A 2 day overnight leadership residential. 6 hours of coaching. 7 masterclasses. 4 x three hour Action Learning set meetings. A Business Exchange 2 Consolidation/ skills workshops. There is no charge for attending the programme, however there is  an application and selection process to ensure that places are awarded to businesses that have plans for growth and whose participants are committed to meaningful change. If interested,  businesses need to complete and return the application form to richardh@liv.ac.uk by Friday 15th February 2019. Participants must be available on the 9th and 10th May and be able to commit to attend 90% of all activities.

Organisations urged to register for Horizon 2020 funding

Organisations that currently receive or have successfully applied for Horizon 2020 grants are being urged to register with the Government to secure their funding in the event of a no-deal Brexit. Organisations must register with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) via an online portal, using their grant agreement number and identification code. Once registered, they will receive regular update emails from UKRI.
